HUM explores the uneasy tension between silence and disturbance, the persistent noise that exists beneath apparent stillness. Unlit, soft grey forms dissolve into a pale white surface, their delicate, fractured edges suggesting something barely perceptible, almost disappearing. When illuminated, the composition undergoes a dramatic reversal, as the once subdued forms deepen into darkness and a brilliant white light emerges around them. What initially appears quiet and restrained becomes charged with intensity, transforming an almost imperceptible vibration into an overwhelming presence. HUM exists between these opposing states, where silence is never truly silent.
