Acrylic paint on gallery box canvas. 20”x16”x1.5”. Edition 1 of 1.
BLUE ORCHID explores the tension between emotional restraint and the overwhelming need to feel. Electric blue cuts through dense black, interrupted by moments of almost blinding white, as though something buried is struggling to reach the surface. The rigid divisions suggest an attempt at control, while the restless, fractured textures expose everything that refuses to remain contained. There is beauty in this conflict, but little comfort. What emerges is an unsettling portrait of vulnerability beneath composure, where silence becomes unbearable and intensity is the only form of release.
