Acrylic paint on gallery box canvas. 12”x12”x1.5”. Edition 1 of 1.
This painting feels like a meeting point between weight and air, where a dense field of dark burgundy presses against a pale expanse lit by traces of orange warmth. The surface carries a quiet sense of interruption, as though something has passed through and left its imprint behind. There is restraint here, but also unease, a feeling of distance held just close enough to be felt. The contrast between the two halves creates a suspended emotional space where softness and pressure, memory and presence, seem to hover in delicate balance.
