RELAIS exists in the uneasy space between transmission and interruption, where one signal gives way to another but nothing arrives unchanged. Dense fields of black, white, and grey move in opposing rhythms, fractured by repetition and distortion, while the electric red surrounding them feels both protective and volatile. There is tension in the painting’s imbalance, a sense of something trying to pass through interference without disappearing entirely.
